Time Lapse of making “Lion” in Bulgaria

Street art festival in a small city.

Anamorphic art is a form of optical illusion that requires a specific vantage point to perceive a distorted image correctly. The term “anamorphosis” refers to the technique of creating distorted images. That only reveal their true form when viewed from a particular angle or with the help of reflective devices such as mirrors or cylindrical surfaces.

Artists use mathematical principles to distort and elongate images in a way that, when viewed from the intended perspective, the image appears undistorted and recognizable. Anamorphic art visible in various forms, including street art, paintings, and sculptures. It often creates a sense of surprise and wonder for viewers as the true image emerges when they find the correct viewpoint.

This technique has been employed by artists throughout history and continues to be a popular and fascinating aspect of contemporary art.
